This was a new one for me. I had always used a box mix, but saw this recipe on Food52 and when reviewing the ingredients and steps, I knew I could make them. The best part was that I only needed the chocolate ingredient and already had the equipment. My toddler enjoyed stirring the chocolate and watching it melt, of course once the stand mixer was out he was really excited about what we were planning to make. This recipe makes 9 brownies, which was ideal, since most of the time I cut the recipes in half because having a two dozen brownies in the house isn’t ideal for the waist line. Have fun making this one!

Thanks, you will love it. Easy to make and minimal ingredients. The scale I have can be found on amazon. Just do a general search for Kitchen Scale. They are around $10-$12. I use mine everyday to weigh out coffee beans, and then for other dessert recipes. Let me know if you have more questions!
