The toddler stage is all about learning new objects, colors, words, and numbers; the list could go on. During a recent trip to the grocery store my son and I were walking through the produce section naming off all the different fruits and vegetables. There is always something new to show him or review from our last visit. When we passed by the potato section I held up a purple potato and he lit up with a smile. I typically make these oven chips with red bliss potatoes, but decided to grab a few of these “newly discovered” potatoes instead. I always love an opportunity to show him a new food and quiz him on colors, success!
