When you think of camping, what comes to mind? Sure, the fresh air, relaxation and adventure. But, c’mon…what really comes to your mind first?

For as long as I can remember, camping and s’mores have gone hand in hand. When I was a kid, I used to bug and bug my parents to get the fire going to roast the marshmallows. And as an adult, I’m no different. I bug and bug my husband to get the fire going. I get excited to set up Jax in his little chair with a roasting stick so he can experience the warmth of the fire on his face as he cooks his mallow. He usually just likes to eat the marshmallow, but mom…I have gotten creative with my s’mores. Have you ever tried the Girl Scout Thanks-a-lot cookies in place of graham crackers and chocolate??? Soooo good! And try a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in place of a chocolate bar. Oh and don’t get me started on how good Nutella is on a s’mores!
The smell of a campfire, the laughter between friends gathered around and the yumminess of gooey s’mores…that’s what camping is all about.
