My family and I have driven past these food trucks for years. Every time we pass there is always a packed crowd and people rave about the food. We finally took the drive and thought getting there at 11am would help with the parking, however the very limited spots were already taken so we quickly parked on the road, picked out a truck we wanted to try and ordered some amazing Mexican street food. The tacos ranged from basics like beef, chicken and pork to some more exotic offerings like tripe and tongue. No matter what you choose, you can be sure that it will come with a choice of flavor packed slow cooked meats and fresh veggies and herbs. We enjoyed some tacos al pastor (pork with pineapple) as well as carne asada tacos (beef). Everything we tried was fantastic and my three year old son wanted some seconds and thirds of the steak. These trucks are nestled in a small parking lot next to the CT river and Rt 95. You cannot miss them as you drive north or south on this major highway. I say this food adventure was a huge success and we won’t hesitate to stop again.
