This post was inspired by a recent pre-school sickness that landed on our doorstep days before Christmas. Popsicles are a great way to cool down those hot temperatures so I decided to create a few homemade versions of my own. The great part is that you can customize to your child’s palate and increase your chances of cooling them down internally. Honey is great for that pesky cough, so I hear, and my toddler enjoys the flavor so the orange and honey was a great pairing. Strawberries and Strawberry flavored Kefir is another favorite enjoyed by my toddler, so pairing them was a natural choice. Get creative when making your homemade popsicles. You could even add pedialyte to the mix as well. Here’s to a healthy 2017!
