Homemade Whole Wheat Bread: Healthy And Easy to Make

I’ve tried making homemade bread in the past and it was a lengthy multi-day process.  Although the bread was good, I wanted to find a recipe that my toddler and I could make in the morning and enjoy in the afternoon.  This whole wheat bread recipe delivered.  You can also customize your toppings.  I had oats on hand, but flax and chia seeds would work as well.  Once the ingredients were mixed the dough needed to rise for 1 hour.  After the initial rise, the dough was punched down again, transferred to the loaf pan and ready once the oven came to temperature.  That was it!  A great morning activity for you and your little kitchen helper.
