Summer break is officially here and since my little kitchen helper is all about popsicles these days, I wanted to create some kid approved flavor combinations with these adorable popsicles molds. These molds are the perfect size for a little kid since they are 1.6 ounces each. You can mix and match the sticks and create funny animal combinations and your child will always be surprised when you pull one out of the popsicle mold.
To start I wanted all the recipes to be no more than 4 ingredients and not use artificial sweeteners. I used a blender to make all the popsicle recipes for easy clean up and to pour the mixture into the molds. Keep in mind that your little kitchen helper will love to place the ingredients into the blender and then work on their pouring skills with the molds. When the popsicles are frozen they will be amazed at what they created. Each popsicle was inspired by one key ingredients that I knew my son would love, like blueberries or strawberries, and then I added a kefir, yogurt or milk to round out the flavors. Â Popsicles are so versatile and allow anyone to be creative with ingredients. Cooling down this summer has never been so tasty… and cute.
